Future Doctor’s Office in Sherman Gets High-Performance Insulation
JR Insulation recently completed an exciting project in Sherman, TX, teaming up with Weaver Construction on a new medical facility that will soon serve the community as a doctor’s office. Our crew was tasked with providing high-performance insulation for the building, ensuring lasting comfort, energy efficiency, and sound control.
The Insulation Plan
For this project, we applied 5.5 inches of open-cell spray foam in the walls and 6 inches in the roofline. Open-cell spray foam was the perfect solution here, offering an air-tight seal that will help regulate interior temperatures, reduce outside noise, and improve overall energy efficiency for the building.
Why It Matters
Medical offices require a comfortable, quiet, and energy-efficient environment for both patients and staff. By using open-cell spray foam, this facility will benefit from:
- Lower energy costs year-round
- Improved soundproofing, creating a calm environment for patients
- Air quality improvements, thanks to reduced air leakage and moisture control
- Long-term performance, with insulation that lasts the life of the building
Collaboration with Weaver Construction
Working alongside Weaver Construction, our team ensured the job was completed on schedule and with the highest level of quality. We’re proud to play a role in creating a space that will soon serve the Sherman community with essential healthcare services.
