Oscar Cordova| Business Relationship Development

Born and raised in Nacogdoches, Texas, Oscar Cordova brings over seven years of hands-on experience in the insulation industry. He began his career in 2018 as a helper in East Texas, where he learned the trade from the ground up supporting crews, preparing materials, and assisting experienced sprayers. His dedication and skill quickly moved him into the role of lead sprayer, where he took responsibility for completing projects, maintaining equipment, and ensuring top-quality results.

Oscar’s career continued to advance as he stepped into management, leading multiple crews as an operations manager. In this role, he trained new sprayers, coordinated scheduling, managed inventory, and oversaw millions of dollars’ worth of insulation projects across East Texas.

In June 2024, Oscar relocated to Dallas to expand his career into sales and business development. There, he added blueprint reading, estimating, and project coordination to his skill set, further broadening his expertise in spray foam, fiberglass, and batt insulation. His background gives him a unique perspective combining technical knowledge with client-focused service.

Oscar’s path to JR Insulation began when he connected with Joaquin through a network of insulation companies. After seeing JR’s crews consistently deliver top-notch quality work, Oscar reached out to schedule a meeting with Joaquin and Chad. He was immediately impressed by their character, knowledge, and the scale and speed at which JR completed projects. That meeting confirmed for Oscar that JR Insulation was the right place for him a company where he could bring his experience, continue learning, and grow with the support of strong leadership.

Oscar values honesty, reliability, and building strong relationships, and he carries those principles into every project and partnership. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active, working out, golfing, and spending time outdoors while always finding new ways to learn and grow.
